Frances tries to persuade Jason to accept her help in dealing with the dangerous loan sharks. However, the moneylender and his heavies make a late night visit to Tigh Tadhg as Frances and Jason are cashing up the takings from the till. Jason and Frances are tied up while the loan shark helps himself to Tadhg’s cash! What will happen when Tadhg discovers the pub was robbed and that it’s all Jason’s fault?

Tadhg hits the roof when he discovers the truth about the robbery at the pub. He is livid that Jason dragged pregnant Frances into his dodgy dealings. Tadhg tells Jason to pack his bags and leave once and for all, severing all ties with his only son. Jason storms off, but before he leaves he reveals his father’s chequered past to Frances. Will Frances believe Jason when he tells her that Tadhg raped his mother Rita?    

Róise brings Maggie to the village and introduces Mack to the mother-in-law he didn’t know existed. Mack is stunned to meet Adelaide’s mother Maggie and can’t believe his ears  when he discovers that Adelaide has abandoned Maggie in a nursing home, telling nurses she’d moved to Australia when she was living close by in Ros na Rún the whole time!
